The Long Beach Airport’s Festival of Flight is coming back to the Long Beach Airport (LGB) in Long Beach, California on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 10:00AM – 4:00PM.

The free community celebration will feature aircraft on static display, food trucks and live music. Thousands of attendees are expected at the popular family-friendly event featuring static aircraft displays, children’s activities, live music, food and beer trucks, and helicopter rides for purchase. The award-winning community event is free and open to the public, with an estimated 10,000 people of all ages taking part in the outdoor festivities between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM on Taxiway E, located on the west end of the airfield at 3590 East Wardlow Road. Attendees are advised to bring water, wear sensible shoes and be prepared to be outdoors, rain or shine. Coolers will not be allowed, and bags will be subject to search. Service animals will be permitted, but pets will not.

Long Beach Airport (IATA: LGB, ICAO: KLGB, FAA LID: LGB) is a public airport three miles northeast of downtown Long Beach, in Los Angeles County, California, United States. It is also called Daugherty Field, named after local aviator Earl Daugherty.
